Facebook Group Option
Facebook Group option is the way to go for creating your own group for any event! The possibilities are endless and its a simple way to gather all your friends into one place. No need to go crazy with invitations or e-mails.
Here is a quick into on how to create a Facebook Group: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOlG1G0IKL8
You can create a Facebook group and make it private, open or closed which makes it easier for people to search your group and to block trolls.
You can upload photos from the event and have your event documents all in one spot. The only problem is...it may be hard to have people join the group without having a Facebook account.
Overall..create a group for your next event..possibilities are endless!

I love creating groups for small events when doing things like a Graduation party, or a surprise birthday party. It's a great aspect to have without needing to spend lots of money to send or invites. More groups/events are using Facebook due to it being free.
ReplyDeleteFacebook group option is my favourite! Friends, families, classmates are all using this to connect to each other. It has become one of the most efficient way to work on group projects, as well as to organize events!
ReplyDeleteFacebook groups are actually such a great networking tool. Having a class one is so beneficial for convenience, getting to know each other better and just for enjoyment. My tourism and travel graduates group is so great because every graduating class gets to enter into the private group, where people will post job opportunities, new trends and just network. It's a great tool to use for both events as well as groups that have similar interests. Even my family has one, since we live all over the place and don't get to see each other that often, the 9 of us get to plan get togethers, update on life and other family members and just get a chance to talk to everyone in one area.
ReplyDeleteFacebook groups are almost a necessity to have. It keeps your friends organized and together making it so easy to communicate and follow each other. It's also great if you want to post something but not publicly to everyone, more so to a group it would interest such as a specific group of friends, a class, family members, etc.
